Yes, we all have been cursing Bollywood as it wasn't successful in producing any movie with logic these days. The likes of SOTY-2 have even made us believe that our country's cinema industry does not focus on real issues. But this thought has been changed by the release of an outstanding movie named Article 15 starring Ayushmann Khuranna.
Without spoiling the movie I would give my honest opinion about how I felt about the movie and how this is an eye-opener to a country like ours.
Article 15 is a tight slap to all those producers who thinks that nepotism and female objectifying movies with no logic and crappy scripting can bring in chunks. This movie is also a tight slap to the caste system and the superstitions of people.

The movie focuses on how caste system has its deep roots in
the rural India (though urban India is not a paradise) and how we Indians don't even consider the lower caste dalits as a human. This movie also shows how women are dominated by the men in our society and how even a serious crime like rape is neglected and handled by our protectors of law.

You can agree or disagree with me on the fact that India has a problem with the caste system and its male dominated societal preaching. Women living in the rural areas of India have to live a life believing that they are not worthy enough to make their own decision regarding their lives. Sexism exists in Bollywood too with the female objectification in the dance numbers of numerous movies. These are the movies which brings in huge chunks of money to the producers of the movies. In a time when crappy movies are being hailed as blockbusters, Article 15 is a gem. This is a movie that deals with the reality and truth that no one is talking about. Ayushmann Khuranna has a knack of picking up scripts which are 'hatke' and this script is on a whole new level. Not many actors have the guts to pick up such bold scripts and deliver such a beautiful performance.
This is a 5 star rated movie and those of you who haven't watched it, please go and watch it. Be it in theaters or on any online streaming platform. Supporting these movies will definitely bring a change in Indian Cinema as well as our Indian Society which really needs a lot of change. And last but not the least, lets unite all our brothers and sisters and make India a better place to live in.
